Find some wooden wine crates at your local liquor store, Total Wine sells them for $5. each, but some Mom and Pop stores simply give them away when they have them
Line your crate with a plastic garbage bag
Place soaked oasis inside the garbage bag and tuck the sides of the bag in or trim with a scissor
Cover oasis with sheet moss
Give your Sheet Moss a nice soaking of water with a spray bottle.
Have a nice selection of greenery and flowers. I used white Hydrangea and garden roses, red and green berries, orchids and assorted greens.
Begin adding your greens to each side, because your centerpiece will be seen by all sides if it's going in the middle of a table, so remember to look at it from front and back while deisgning. Then add your flowers and fill in with some color and extra touches.....
and there you have it!! If you try this project I'd love to see your results. Please send me photos of how yours turned out.
